Lex, sounds like a typical first day in a new school. It takes a few days to get used to the whole locker/changing classes thing.

Sometimes I still have a dream that I forget my locker combination, and I don't know my schedule. It is a really frustrating dream!

I'm glad your teachers are cool. I can't wait to hear about some basketball. I'll be checking the schedule to see what I can do about getting up to a game or 2

Love you!

I'm so glad that you had a good first day of school!! If it makes you feel any better I was late for every single class my first day of Jr. High. I jammed my locker and still have nightmares about my locker combination! So see, you did GREAT. We can't wait to hear about our Basketball Star!!

We're happy to hear your first day went well. I always had a hard time figuring out how often and when I could go to my locker without being late to my next class. I swear they don't give you enough time in between classes. Glad to hear you have some good teachers though.

We'll be staying tuned to see how the b-ball game goes tonight. GO RAMS!

I'm glad that you had a good first day. I wouldn't worry too much about being late for a couple of classes. I think that every teacher knows that it takes some time to find your way around on the first day.

You are lucky that your school lunches are good. I don't mind most of the school lunches here in Utah, but when we lived in Washington the lunches were just scary. The burritos were bright orange and I'm pretty sure that they were radioactive.

You will have probably already played your game by the time you read this, but I hope it went well. I can't wait to hear about it.

Wow Lexi, you really brought back the memories. That whole locker thing is something that really stays with you somewhere in your subconcious or something. But you will have it down easily in a day or two. You'll have it all figured out which classes are close enough for a locker stop and which aren't. It's only when you get old like us that it starts giving you nightmares Ha Ha. Thanks for sharing your first day with us. Love, Grandma
