Well the kids really wanted a trampoline but Nate and I were not to keen on the idea. Not only are they kind of an eyesore but with all our trees in the backyard we don't really have a clear overhead spot for one, at least that is what we have been telling them.
We have held them at bay with a rope swing. Nate braved the height and fastened all the fancy knots and we have all been swinging fools. Liv is out there nearly all day wanting to swing...the down side is that she wants someone to push her!

That Liv, she do be a busy gal. It looks like fun. I am going to have to come back and give it a try.
Love the compromise!! My kids would love a trampoline as well, but Marc refuses. Too bad we don't have any big trees!!

I wish that I had a big tree with a rope swing in my back yard. If I did, I might never get around to painting my house! Who am I kidding, I still may never get around to painting my house! Nate says that this is a competition, so I will have to do my best to win the Blog War.

Mother you stole my line! I totally have been waiting to say that to Jen since she started and you beat me to it. This is way to much fun.
Jen you are worse than me with motion sickness, you would be vomiting after one push on the swing and you know it.
Looks like sooo much fun!. Can't let my kid see or we'll have to do the same thing.
You snooze, you lose, Ang. You have got to be quick. By the way, Jen was not impressed. Somewhere in all this mess she let me know that we are NOT as funny as we think we are!
