This is stupid!

This is what I am doing...

This is what the baby is doing...

Everybody else is having tons more fun, I am just sure of it.

I am so sick of anatomy I can hardly stand it anymore. Two more weeks and I am finished with it but that seems like an eternity. We just finished thorax, abdomen and pelvis last week, I did much better on my lab practical and decent on the written exam for these sections so I was glad about that. We are now doing head and neck and will finish with a really fun comprehensive national exam. I am so excited.

The head and neck are the worst. That was obviously our focus in school. Who knew so many dang muscles and nerves existed in such a little space.

I hear you! Our cadaver's skin was not dissected very carefully and what remains of the muscles, artery's and nerve's is pretty dang pathetic.

I'm sorry, I wish that you were having more fun. Hopefully your load will be a little lighter in a couple of weeks.

Don't bother the baby, she looks dang cozy.

Its got to get better soon! I don't envy you now, but I'm sure I will later. I love you guys! Hang in there!

Hang in there! It sure makes me glad I only had to learn the terminology and what part of the body to find things in, but not really have to commit everything to memory, as the doctors tell me what to type and my only challenge comes when they talk so fast and mumble that I have to try and discern what they are saying based on what part of the body they are talking about. I get more use out of google than I do my own brain (although I guess I do have to use my brain to know what to google).

I admire your "smartness" and your dedication and empathize with your plight of studying when everyone else is having fun.

And as far as Baby....well, being one of the few "not really into pets" members of the family, I say, let sleeping dogs lie!

Cynthia, you are not the only one using google! I don't know what I would do without it.

It will get better, and it isn't that bad right now, I just like to complain.

So, I gather that since there was not exclamation point at the end of that last sentance that you are being sarcatsic. LOL Two more weeks! Look at all you have learned already. You are amazing.

You should take 10 minutes and snuggle down there with the baby. She do look cozy, she really do!

I can't even fathom doing what you are doing, I am still amazed and impressed! GOOD LUCK.

What a girl! What an undertaking! Are you sure you want to be a Doctor? Too late to pull out now. But you are doing so good. Alyssa and I are thinking of going to the Body Works Show that is here by the downtown library. I am just trying to decide if I really want to see all those bodies. It would be so educational and I am sure Alyssa could help me learn from it. She is way smarter than I.
I loved the pictures of your books and the baby. And I love that you changed the picture at the start of your blog. Now we can really see the two of you, and you look DARN GOOD. Love you

The baby is ridiculous! Oh the life of a dog.

I know I couldn't do it. There is an exhibit in Salt Lake that is supposed to be real bodies without skin. I am morbidly curious but at the same time am afraid I would throw up or pass out. At least you have a great bunch of listeners to vent too and that helps a little. We will always be here for you so vent away. At least the weather is getting colder so the others will soon be moping around saying I am bored but not you and baby. You can be "engrossed" in your studies and baby can be dreaming of the days when she used to run free without a rather uncomfortable collar. Hang in there, you know it is a means to an end. Love, N&J
