Somebody needs to take the groundhog out!!

Not amused or glad at all to see that the rodent predicted 6 more weeks of winter! If I didn't have an exam I would have driven the 2 hours to Punxsutawney PA and rushed the stage and taken the heartless rat down!! Certainly he must realize how miserable this weather is.

Okay, maybe I was a little harsh... really I would love to go hang out with the locals and see the little fella in person. Who wouldn't love a groundhog named Phil? Just really ready for some warmer, less snowy weather. We still have a little over a foot of snow on the ground, sigh! Luckily the neighbor came over with a tractor and helped widen out our driveway for us, the snow banks on either side are easily 4 -5 feet tall. Nate's back may not survive another snow fall.

HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY!

You are more than ready for Spring with all the snow that you guys have had.

I'm with you, I was ready to strangle the darn groundhog as well!!

We need photographic evidence of the snow banks!

I can just see you rushing the stage, snatching Phil, and pummeling him to death for his heartless prediction of a long winter.

Nobody is taking that groundhog out! Ha ha!

I hope Nate does not throw his back out. I know how tender it is.

Aparently none of us are glad about the predictions of Punxsutawney Phil.

Jen - I can always count on you for some horifically graphic detail!! I will get a picture of the snowbanks.

I thought today was beautiful with all the sunshine until I realized it meant 6 more weeks of bad weather. I am certainly tired of wearing these darn coats!

You all just picked the wrong place to live. Not bragging here.. but has been beautiful, sunny and mid to high 70's here for a week. I do miss the changes of weather though. Guess we are going to get a bit of a cold spell and rain this week.. you know.. cold as in low 60's during the day.. LOL

Too bad the groundhog wasn't here yesterday...it was sunny! There's an inversion though...so I'm sure you don't miss that! Winter hasn't been so bad here...but it's probably saving itself for April when we're REALLY wanting the warm weather...

I really hate to complain in the other direction when I know you are all freezing your fannies off, but it is already in the 80's and I am NOT happy about it.

It doesn't seem like we have even cooled down yet, and I am NOT ready for the heat. We usually get a couple of months of 60's and maybe even some 50's. I need that.

Mother we picked the polar opposite locations, complain away! I hate the heat just as much as the cold... Jef we are all ready to move in!

We just can't seem to find the purrrfect weather. I'm beginning to think Hawaii sounds the best. I'm guessing if the ground hog lived here, he wouldn't have seen his shadow with the terrible inversion. On the other hand he would definitely be an asthmatic groundhog. There is just no winning.

I am so ready for spring. Okay I have no room to complain. I spent most of December in Hawaii and it really hasn't been too bad here. I can't believe all the snow you guys are getting. I bet Lex is loving all the snow since she is going snowboarding.

Hi Ang...you are getting more snow there than up North here in Alberta, Canada...in fact I was just talking with Seymour Air Base in N.C. and they got 1.5" of snow yesterday while we were at 48 deg. F. today we're even warmer than NC they're at 31 deg. and we're at 36 deg now...as for groundhogs...their holes in the ground injur livestock that step in and break legs...we use lead poison for them here!! Cheers!
...say, Ang...have you been on Marc 365 blog yet??

Well, I've always thought Canadians had it better up there, and now I know!

Marc usually doesn't comment back on his 365 so I rarely bother, it is all yours!!!
