Snow Report

We just climbed over the one foot mark and still snowing! It finally all melted a couple of days ago and most peoples yards were full of standing water, it was so mucky and wet. Then last night it started up again. The girls had a two hour delay for school this morning and it looks like with the continued snow all day that buses will be about a half hour late getting home. What a mess and I have not seen one plow all day!!!

I think this is the first year in my life that I really don't care if it is a white Christmas, I have had my fill of it already!

It's been snowing all day here too...although we certainly don't have as much as you!! I hope it all plans on melting after Christmas but I definitely don't think we're that lucky.

Aren't your girls out of school for Christmas break? I'm pretty sure all the school's are out around here...

Hope you guys are staying warm...and driving safe in all the snow.

I think it is wonderful that we have an official measurement going on. It sounds like a real mess with the melting. Kind of like here. We are getting rain again today and it just makes everything muddy. I'm not complaining though. I quite like the change of weather. We have a little over and inch more than usual for the year right now, and we are suppossed to get it all week.

We were supposed to get a few inches today, but it just snowed on and off and actually was warm enough that the packed down snow that was on my driveway all melted away.

I'm not minding the snow so much anymore. I inherited Grandpa Findlay's snowblower (because no one in the family needed one) and I can't believe how fast I can clear my driveway now. I'm having so much fun, that I do the neighbors and the sidewalk all the way down to the corner 6 houses away.

We had about 3 inches in Kaysville today. I was busy this afternoon so I didn't get it shoveled, and I was not as lucky as Cynthia to have it all melt. It is just going to have to wait for tomorrow.

I always thought that Utah got a lot of snow, but it sounds like you guys get a lot more than we do!!

I'm glad that our kids are out on Winter Break, it sounds like yours have a few more days to go. Its good to be able to sleep in again and not be on a schedule!!

Hope you enjoy all that snow!!
