Flashback to the '80's

We had the pleasure of attending Lexi's chorus concert the other night and were treated to a delicious medley from the 1980's.

As usually we forgot the camera, no big deal though because this tween queen HATES to have her picture taken.

It was a lovely concert, and it was very nice to see her all dressed up - not in sweatpants! Which we have had to ban her from wearing to school and other functions or all of those beautiful clothes she has begged us to buy from Ambercrombie or Holister would never get worn.

At any rate just one more piece of evidence that this town is straight out of 1985!

Lex, I'm all about sweat pants. It is so stinking cold in my new building that I am wearing a sweater and I also have a blanket.

I wish I could have come to your concert.

I'm wearing sweat pants right now!

I think it's great that Erie is stuck in the '80s. However, with all of the great '80s music to choose from you would think that they could have picked some better songs. I never liked any of the ones on the program.

Well the chorus teacher was rocking out to those songs, clearly she is reliving her youth!

WE live where everyone is kind of stuck in the 80s as well it makes for good times sitting on the porch watching people walk by. Sarah went to church with us and even commented on the clothes. WE LOVE THE 80S

Oh how I wish I could go back to the eighties! Parachute pants, Madonna look alikes, the Michael Jackson hey day, rubiks cube geeks, video arcade games,ray-bans, mohawks, moshing, scrunch socks, punk music. Here is a tribute to the 80's

Honeslty those were the best days of my life. I always think about those days and the good friends I had... who sadly by the way... a few of them passed away due to AIDS.

I finally had a few minutes to look at the program and was totally surprised to see that there is only 1 Alexis, but 2 Olivia's.

I also thought that 80's music was pretty entertaining. After that, pop music got too weird for me. Sent me packing right to a country station.

I am the only Alexis in my whole school, i think.
