WHERE IS THE SUN!!!!

This is what it looks like after raining for 1 1/2 hours this morning, there was a creek running down the street, and we now have a pond so if the sun comes out we can go swimming!

And remember how our roof was leaking during the winter thaw and we had it fixed? Surprise! I guess not.

I don't think these flowers are going to survive at this point and it really makes me mad, anyone have a good fix? I tried building up the mulch around them yesterday and they did straighten up but after this morning they are pretty much laying flat on the ground.

The dogs definitely have the right idea for another rainy day... I am sure it won't last long, Bella is sure to want to go out and romp around at some point and the house will smell terrifically like wet dog all day!

Yikes! That is exactly what happens to our yard when it rains. A big ole swimming hole in the front yard. That must be the same storm that went though Milwuakee last night and canceled the truck race.

I'm sorry you are so soggy. Damn global warming! But thanks for the video. I love listening to it.

I think your flowers will bounce back after they dry out a bit.

We saw the sun yesterday, the only time in June. The global warming theory seems to be all wet. It is raining again today but Jace, Brooke and Kylee didn't let it deter playing on the swing sets. As for the flowers, wait for some sunshine and then get them back up with the help of some longer stakes. Maybe put some type of open canope over them to protect them from the next storm. Anyway, you don't have that problem with artificial plants. Just joking.

Yesterday was the first non-rainy day for us in about 2 weeks, and it is raining again today. Luckily it hasn't rained enough to cause pooling water in my yard, but I do understand the smell of wet dog permeating the house.

I'm so sorry about the water damage on your ceiling again! I don't know that I could deal with that without having a panic attack every time it rained or snowed.

I agree with mom that your flowers will probably perk up if the sun ever comes out. Sometimes you have to get those little green bamboo stakes and tie your tall flowers to them to prevent them from tipping over. I do that with my gladiolas and hollyhocks.

Since the yokels that did your roof obviously didn't actually fix it, I certainly hope they will be coming back free of charge?

Alas, the roof is leaking in a NEW spot.... this is why we need to invest in a NEW roof!

I am so SICK and TIRED of the rain I could scream. We are having the wettest June on record. It looks like we may get some sun next week though. I hope that you guys see some sun as well.

I hope that your flowers come back and that my garden survives!!

What a bummer that your roof is leaking again. Knock on wood that we haven't had that problem yet. Good Luck...

I hate it when all of the rain comes at the first of summer, because then it will be dry and hot for the rest of the season and we'll be wishing for wetter cooler weather. Good luck with the plants (no advise there, my thumb is not even CLOSE to green!), and the roof.

Happy Father's Day, Nate! Hope you all have a great day

Doin great with all this rain! Our last two shows have been rained out at some point. We have rode in our outdoor arena probably 3-4 times all month.

I am so sick of the rain. I want to get out of the house and into the sunshine. We need a new roof too! Wes will come help put a roof on your house if Nate wants to come help put a new roof on ours! :0) We don't have any leaks yet, but I am sure we will if we don't put a new roof on soon.
I have no advice on the flowers. I am horrible when it comes to gardening. Miss you guys!!!
