Liv has a STORY to Tell

A couple of weeks ago when I was going through Liv's backpack; I saw a flyer for a book writing contest. Of course Liv was very excited about participating. She immediately started putting together ideas for the book. A couple hours later she came down with the story and by the end of the day she had all of the pictures drawn. We did not give her any direction or any help; she came up with the story and pictures all on her own. I think she did a FABULOUS job and I thought it was so good that I decided to take pictures of it and share it with our family and friends. She turned it in on Monday, so we will let you know if she wins anything, but in my eyes; it just may be the greatest story ever told.

That is an awesome story Liv. You did an excellent job with the illustrations too. I can't believe you did all that in one day. It would take me weeks just to think up a story. You are definitely very creative, talented, and smart. Way to go on a job well done!

Great story, Liv! I agree...I can't believe it only took you a day to think of the story, write it all down, AND draw pictures for it! I didn't realize how creative you are!

Thank you guys for documenting that for us....felt like I was there flipping through the pages first-hand.

Love all of you...

Liv has always been the greatest story teller in our world. She will be a natural for a Broadway play some day with her writing the story and also being the main character. We have loved Liv playing roles as the faithful dog and enthusiastic house cleaner. We need to start saving each one of her quotes and stories. I'm glad Little Lamb took the time to make friends and save the day. This story reminded me of one grandma Hart wrote called "Sally Tomorrow". Hope you still have the book. love ya===

Liv, that is the best story ever. Now I think that YOU should write the story of the Leisurely Beaver and do the drawings too. I'm sure you would write the story way better than I could, and I KNOW that you will do the drawings better.

Good luck in the contest! Love you.
